What is the dress code?We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us! This is a formal event, so we ask that our guests come dressed in Summer Formal attire.

What is summer formal?Summer formal is formal, but dress for the weather. The ceremony and reception will be held indoors, but the cocktail hour and evening dancing and mingling will mainly be held outside. Suits and full-length dresses are strongly encouraged. What time should I arrive for the ceremony?The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM EST. We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes before!

How close is the ceremony to the reception?Right around the corner! The ceremony will be taking place at the Chelsea Clocktower at 320 N Main St, Chelsea, MI 48118. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour will begin at The Collins Off Main at 120 W Middle St, Chelsea, MI 48118. iPhone maps says that it is a 4min walk! If you need accommodations from getting from the ceremony to the reception, please reach out to us.

Where can I stay in the area?Brendan and Nikki have coordinated a hotel block at the Comfort Inn in Chelsea, MI. Use Hawthorne/Sanders when booking! If interested in staying elsewhere, check out the Travel & Stay tab for more options!

Can I bring my children?We love all of our friends' and families' children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 21 on our wedding day. We encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night!

Can I bring a plus one?Due to the limited capacity of our venue, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically indicated on your invitation. For example, if you have a plus one, your envelope will be addressed as "Mr./Ms. XYZ and Guest."

What is the bar situation?We will provide a full open bar with spirits, beer, cocktails, and a selection of red and white wines. We will also have non-alcoholic options and coffee. The drinks are on us, the hangover is on you, please drink responsibly!

What is the transportation and parking to and from the venue?A shuttle will be provided to and from the hotel block to the wedding. The shuttles will begin taking guests to the ceremony space at 3:00pm. Shuttle will run on a continuous loop to the hotel block from reception space/after party space until 1:00am. If you plan on driving and parking in Downtown Chelsea, please be sure to take a look at the Collins' website for information on nearby parking lots. We do encourage our guest to take advantage of the shuttle, as parking is limited.

What do I wear to the Welcome Drinks?The bride and groom will be heading over to the the Garage Bar following their rehearsal dinner and will be dressed nicely. There is no dress code, but you can dress up with the couple in a summer dress or a polo or button up, if you would like!
